ACURE
Iridescent spectacle with practical, tightly ordered type
This study examines the earlier iridescent 118 mL Resurfacing Glycolic & Unicorn Root Cleanser photographed by Jurada. A reflective upper field occupies most of the tube front, while white information space and a white cap stabilize the composition. A widely spaced wordmark sits high above a much denser product-name block. The useful design principle is controlled contrast: expansive surface effect above, compact reading aids below. This is a specific photographed edition, not a description of ACURE’s current yellow cleanser or a universal brand standard.

About this study
Earlier iridescent 118 mL cleanser edition visible in the approved Jurada campaign photograph. This is a front-view packaging analysis, not ACURE’s current brand manual. The current official product page depicts a yellow redesign; its packaging specification is not retroactively assigned to this edition.

Pack body
Pearlescent silver

Approximate screen impression of the reflective base. It changes with illumination; this is not a fixed ink specification.
Label
Paper-like white
#F1F2F3
Approximate white of the lower information field and title strips; studio shadows make the cap appear cooler.
Ink
Near-black type
#17191E
Shared dark text color unifies the airy identity, dense name stack and fine supporting lines.
Accent
Cyan reflection
#9FE6ED
Cool highlight across the upper front; part of the photographed optical effect, not a separate proven printed color.
Warm spectral yellow
#F4E99B
Warm reflection near the middle of the open field, creating contrast with the cooler shoulder.
Lilac reflection
#B8A2DC
Violet transition beside the product-name block. Reproduce a changing effect rather than literal flat bands.
Typography
Suggested visual alternatives, not confirmed brand typefaces. Any scale below is an illustrative estimate.
The upper wordmark uses relatively light, broadly spaced capitals. Below a large visual pause, the product name becomes a four-line block of heavy, compact capitals aligned to the left. Its pale, individually sized line backgrounds create a stepped edge. Smaller mixed-case copy occupies the white lower field, with selective bold emphasis and a fine divider. Width, weight and spacing do more work than a large collection of typefaces.

Structure & Proportions
Visual proportions and finish previews are illustrative. Confirmed construction details and uncertainties are distinguished in the study notes.
Proportions
| Purpose | Value | Preview |
|---|---|---|
| Primary color field | The reflective section occupies clearly more front height than the white information section; this is a qualitative reading, not a measured dieline ratio. | — |
| Identity-to-name gap | An unusually generous open reflective interval separates the high identity from the lower title stack, allowing surface effect to act as the hero graphic. | — |
| Closure | The cap forms a distinct short base, visually continuing the lower white field without competing with the name. | — |
| Title alignment | Text strips share a left edge but end at different points; the resulting staircase preserves the natural length of each phrase. | — |
Shapes
| Element | Value | Preview |
|---|---|---|
| Tube silhouette | Flattened sealed top opening into a rounded body above a broad closure; the photo is angled, so no true aspect ratio is claimed. | |
| Name strips | Plain rectangular light backgrounds with square corners and unequal lengths. | |
| Closure recess | Shallow rounded finger recess on the front of the white cap, supplying the main visible functional detail. |
Finishes
Spectral reflective appearance
Upper tube and sealed top edge; exact metallization, film or foil process unknown. · gloss
Quiet opaque appearance
Lower information field; visually calmer than the upper field, without proof of a matte varnish or tactile coating. · matte
Formats and materials
| Formats | Cap-down squeeze tube, front photographed |
| Materials | Historical tube wall and coating composition not verified. Reflective appearance alone does not establish aluminum., White molded-looking closure visible; polymer and recycled content of this photographed edition not verified. |
| Closures | White flip-top style base with a visible opening recess. The closed photograph shows the external silhouette, not the hinge mechanism or dispensing aperture. Its width supports a stable-looking cap-down stance. |
| Decoration | Dark wordmark and small tagline high on the reflective field, Four short title lines on separate pale rectangular grounds, Lower information block divided by one fine rule; printing and coating methods unconfirmed |
Front Panel
Schematic reading order. The diagram’s zone heights do not represent measured artwork proportions.
Treat the front as three reading zones within two surface treatments. Identity occupies the top, product naming anchors the bottom of the reflective section, and fine information lives on white beneath it. There is no evidence that the graphics are an applied adhesive label; ‘label’ here describes information architecture.
| Zone | Content |
|---|---|
| Upper identity | Widely spaced dark brand capitals with a much smaller tagline immediately below. This is the first recognition point, isolated from the detailed copy. |
| Reflective interval | A substantial area without illustration or text lets the lighting express the finish. Preserve its emptiness; filling it would weaken the dominant surface effect. |
| Product name | A compact left-aligned stack breaks the long name into readable units. Pale strips protect contrast where shifting reflections would otherwise pass behind the characters. |
| Lower information | Short ingredient and benefit statements, a divider, smaller claim copy and net contents form a separate practical register. The photograph is evidence of layout, not an instruction to reuse those claims. |
Range System
Only one packaging is analyzed. A proposed extension could preserve the high identity, open reflective interval, stepped title and quiet lower panel while changing product names and controlled optical accents. This is an interpretation for a fictional range, not verified ACURE range coding. The current yellow redesign belongs to a different edition and should not be combined into a single historical specification.
- For an original cleanser and moisturizer pair, keep the same title alignment and white information area; test distinct surface treatments rather than relying on subtle spectral differences alone.
- For a smaller travel tube, reduce wording before shrinking supporting text. The same open interval may need to contract to preserve readability.
- Use explicit product-type words alongside any color distinction, since the reflective field changes with viewing angle and is not a reliable fixed color code.
Back of Pack & Shelf
The reverse and side panels are not visible in the approved image. Their hierarchy, symbols, barcode placement and actual copy cannot be reconstructed from this front view.
- Obtain an edition-matched reverse photograph before documenting its layout.
- Do not borrow current ingredient lists, packaging claims or disposal instructions for the earlier photographed edition.
- For an original production brief, reserve legible space for the applicable directions and required information; this is planning guidance, not an observed back-panel design.
On shelf
As an interpretation, the reflective field could attract attention through changing highlights before the dense name stack communicates the product. In a thumbnail, the white cap and lower panel make the silhouette easier to separate from a similarly reflective background. In physical retail, readability would depend on lighting; assess several viewing angles instead of judging the finish from this favorable campaign exposure alone.
Imagery
The selected Jurada photograph uses a silver-gray sculptural backdrop and bright white staging. Hard directional light creates a long cast shadow and activates the tube’s spectrum. The tube leans diagonally while its front remains readable. These are campaign art-direction choices, distinct from the printed pack: the wavy background is not label artwork, and its gray is not the package’s principal brand color.
Guidelines
Editorial principles for an original design brief, not official brand guidelines.
Do
- Keep the strongest surface effect separate from the smallest information.
- Use short, deliberate title lines and consistent strip padding.
- Preserve a clear contrast between airy identity and compact product naming.
- Test an original reflective concept under diffuse light as well as hard campaign light.
- Document the exact photographed edition whenever linking this study to a product or brand page.
Don't
- Do not call the tube aluminum or specify holographic foil without construction evidence.
- Do not assign the current product’s recycled-cap claim to this earlier edition.
- Do not turn sampled reflections into an asserted fixed range palette.
- Do not reproduce ACURE’s logo, claims or distinctive wording in a fictional design.
- Do not invent reverse-panel content or treat this photograph as dimensioned artwork.
