Byoma packaging

Byoma

candy-coloured barrier science on a shelf

Byoma treats skincare like a bright, friendly lab product. Each pack is moulded in one soft-matte saturated colour, with a square colour-matched cap, so bottle, cap and tube read as a single rounded block. All text is printed directly in one contrasting ink, most often pale butter yellow (#eef07a) on blue, pink or orange. Tall packs run the heavy wide wordmark vertically up the side with a spaced sub-brand line beside it, short jars and droppers set it horizontally, and a narrow left-aligned stack of caps product name, plus-sign ingredient list, thin rule and two-line tagline sits beneath. Body colour separates the lines: sky blue for Blemish, coral for the eye cream, hot pink for collagen, lemon and tangerine for bodycare.

Typography

Suggested visual alternatives, not confirmed brand typefaces. Any scale below is an illustrative estimate.

The wordmark is the largest element, turned 90 degrees on tall bottles and tubes and horizontal on jars and droppers. Under it, the product name in bold caps, the active complex and a plus-sign ingredient stack in regular sentence case, a thin rule, then a two-line bold caps tagline; the volume closes the stack at the base.

Range System

Colour coding by line and need: one body colour plus one ink colour per family, with an identical type stack across every format.

  • Blemish line = sky blue + butter yellow
  • Hydrating serum = cobalt + lavender
  • Barrier eye cream = coral + violet
  • Collagen mask and body oil = hot pink + butter yellow
  • Body wash = lemon + orange
  • Body polish and serum = tangerine + butter yellow

Back of Pack & Shelf

Same single ink on the same body colour, set in a small left-aligned column: short 'what it does' line, directions, then INCI and legal.

  • Short description of the complex in plain words
  • Directions in two or three short lines
  • Full INCI list in small condensed type
  • Caution line, batch code and PAO symbol
  • Barcode on a small white box, recycling marks

On shelf

The range blocks into clean slabs of sky blue, pink and lemon, and the vertical wordmark gives each tall bottle a readable spine. Online the white-ground renders read as a colour chart.

Imagery

No imagery on pack; products are shown as isolated renders on pure white with a soft contact shadow.

Guidelines

Do

  • Make the whole pack, cap included, one saturated soft-matte colour (for example #88b6e2).
  • Print all text in a single contrasting ink, such as butter yellow #eef07a.
  • Run the heavy wide wordmark vertically at about 45% of height on tall bottles and tubes.
  • Stack product name, active complex, plus-sign ingredients, rule and tagline in a narrow left-aligned column.
  • Write ingredients as a plus-sign list, one per line.
  • Assign each product line its own body colour and keep it on every format in that line.
  • Keep the top half of the body empty.

Don't

  • Don't use paper labels, transparent bottles or contrasting caps.
  • Don't add illustrations, photography or icons.
  • Don't use metallic, foil or gloss luxury cues.
  • Don't centre the copy block on tall packs.
  • Don't use serif type anywhere.
  • Don't mix two ink colours on one pack.
