Starface

star-eyed smiley in neon bubblegum

Starface turns spot care into a sticker-shop product: every hanging carton is a single saturated colour (Hot Pink #f0249a, Candy Floss, Pool Blue #3fc4e3, Grape Soda) under a contrasting header strip with a punched hang hole, and a tiny smiley whose eyes are stars sits above a chunky rounded wordmark spanning the width. Below it, a two-line lowercase product name and a thin-ruled info box in monospace type give the pack a casual lab-label feel, with a small column of the patch colours inside the box. The same face carries onto glossy rounded-square compacts that open to show star patches, and lip balm cartons with a die-cut window over a stick wrapped in a fat cropped 'STAR' band whose colour changes per flavour.

Typography

Suggested visual alternatives, not confirmed brand typefaces. Any scale below is an illustrative estimate.

The smiley sits small at the top centre, then the oversized rounded wordmark spans the carton width. A two-line lowercase product name follows, and the lower third holds a thin-ruled box of claims and count in small monospaced type, with bold verbs picked out. Balm cartons drop the big wordmark for a small lowercase name at the top and a giant cropped 'STAR' on the stick.

Front Panel

Schematic reading order. The diagram’s zone heights do not represent measured artwork proportions.

Full-colour carton front with a darker or contrasting header strip at the top; content stacked centred down a single column, ending in a thin-ruled information grid.

MiddleFull-width rounded wordmark, then two-line lowercase product name
Lower thirdRuled box: benefits, count and patch colours shown as a small swatch column

Range System

Flat colour coding by product type, with the layout, smiley and wordmark fixed; balms are coded by stick and band colour, and licensed collaborations replace the smiley with the partner character on a red compact.

  • Hydro-stars = hot pink carton + purple header
  • Pink patches = candy floss carton + hot pink header
  • Salicylic acid = pool blue carton + rainbow wordmark
  • Nose strips = yellow carton + purple starry header
  • Birthday-cake balm = white stick, sprinkle 'STAR' band
  • Grape balm = purple carton and stick, pink band

Back of Pack & Shelf

The back keeps the body colour and repeats the ruled-box system: a casual lowercase how-to in numbered steps, ingredients, warnings and a barcode, all in black monospace inside thin rules.

  • Numbered lowercase 'how to use' steps
  • Ingredients list (hydrocolloid, actives where present)
  • Caution and 'for external use' line
  • Barcode inside a ruled cell
  • Recycling note and distributor address

On shelf

Hung on pegs, the cartons form a wall of hot pink, light pink, blue and yellow with the same smiley and wordmark at the same height, and the header strips create a second stripe of contrast colour along the top.

Imagery

No photography; graphics are limited to the star-eyed smiley, solid stars in contrasting colours, sprinkles on the cake balm and the patches themselves pictured beside the pack.

Guidelines

Do

  • Flood the whole carton in one saturated colour such as Hot Pink (#f0249a) and add a contrasting header strip about 12% tall with a hang hole.
  • Place a small black smiley with star-shaped eyes centred above the wordmark.
  • Set the wordmark in the heavy rounded Display face across about 80% of the width.
  • Write product names in lowercase Headline sans and claims in lowercase Body monospace inside a thin-ruled box.
  • Give each product type its own body colour: pink, blue, purple, yellow.
  • Wrap round components with an oversized cropped piece of the Display wordmark.

Don't

  • Don't use muted, beige or clinical white grounds on cartons.
  • Don't set the product name in uppercase or serif.
  • Don't use photography or ingredient illustrations.
  • Don't add metallic foil or premium finishes; it should look like toy plastic and sticker print.
  • Don't crowd the front: one smiley, one wordmark, one name, one info box.
  • Don't use more than one gradient element per pack.
